Irving's Grand Opening day moved to next week!

Despite the extensive progress already made on our new Irving Mall location, the official grand opening has been delayed.

While a lot of work has been completed, builders were not able to finish in time to secure all the necessary permits from the City of Irving .
The new Los Lupes Irving Mall, which was scheduled to open with New Year's Eve Night, is still scheduled to open next week.

Stay tuned for more news!

A NEW ERA FOR LOS LUPES
IS SET TO BEGIN AT IRVING MALL!!!

The Los Lupes restaurant along Hwy.183 in Irving is now gone - its doors have been shuttered as part of our transition to a new home at nearby Irving Mall.

Located right besides the Mall's south entrance, facing Hwy 183.

We would like to thank everyone who took part in our Final Farewell Party last Friday.  Not surprisingly, the whole crowd stayed there until 4 AM!  Now it's time to stash all those good memories away in the attic (along with whatever piece of Los Lupes you wound up taking home with you!), and start counting down the days until the gorgeous new facilities in Irving Mall are unveiled.
In the coming days we will be announcing the date for the Grand Opening, fans of Los Lupes on Facebook will receive VIP notification for this private event, so "Like-Us" today and be a part of this one-of-a-kind celebration!
And, just so you know, there is an actual World Record we're getting ready to shatter.  Stay tuned, true believers ...

Welcome to our website/blog!

In the Spring of 1972, Los Lupes opened its doors on the corner of Cole & Industrial bringing Traditional mexican Food to Dallas. Authentic Mexican food is a lost concept held by few restaurants today because it is so difficult to prepare. The recipes used today have been passed down from our ancestors through three generations. In all three generations, there was a child named “Lupe”. Hence, the “Los Lupes®” (many Lupes). For over 30 years, Los Lupes ® has remained family owned and operated.

Mole Chipotle con Pollo; Addison's favorite plate! Mole is an Aztec word meaning sauce, reserved for the greatest celebrations. This authentic Mole is a blend of of Chile, fried Tortilla, sesame, onion, garlic, peanut, cinamon, anise and Chocolate. There is also something extra from Lupe in this recipe.
The same methods and concepts begun then are used even today. One of these original concepts is the “All You Can Eat” Mexican Buffet. This original idea is often imitated, but in our eyes, never duplicated.
Unlike large restaurant chains that prepare massive quantities of frozen food to serve during the week, Los Lupes’ kitchen opens at 5 a.m. and prepares everything from “scratch” every day to ensure the freshest quality for our customers. Los Lupes will continue to serve freshly prepared meals for many years to come. We thank you for the opportunity to provide a Great Dining Experience.

Thank you!
